Since I like to build frames using a variety of methods, and some forms are more labor intensive than others, the prices below reflect the amount of time and materials required.

Base prices are for frames using regular non-heat-treated chromoly tubing--from Dedacciai, Reynolds, and True Temper-- with your standard set of braze-ons for road brakes, derailleurs, and two water bottle cages. Base price includes powder coating in one color (see below for paint prices). Some of the more utilitarian types of bikes--like those for touring and commuting-- also tend to have a lot going on with them (like more powerful brakes, rack and fender mounts, light mounts, and so on). I have listed prices for these additional options.

TIG welded frame: $1100

Fillet Brazed frame: $1200

Lugged frame: $1250

Tubing upgrades: please contact for quote

Lugged fork: $200

Twin-plate crown fork: $250

Carbon fork (not made by me): please contact for quote

Suspension fork: please contact for availability and quote

 

Additions:

Wet paint: $150 (solid color, fork included)

Cantilever/linear pull brake mounts: $25

Disk brake mounts: $25 per brake

Slider Dropouts: $100

Rack mounts: $20

Fender mounts: $20

Tire generator mount: $20

Generator wire routing: $15 external, $30 internal
